Dan Morgan started martial arts practising traditional
Shotokan Karate. Having fought and trained in the UK, Canada and
Australia he moved on to cross training in Mixed Martial Arts and
reality based training. During his travels in Australia he trained in
Krav Maga with the Israeli Krav Maga Federation. Becoming fond of the
reality based method of training he signed up to the IKMF Instructors
course based in the UK.
Whilst in the UK he trained under Stewart McGill at the Central London
School of Krav Maga. Here he made many good training partners and
actively participated in the running of club. Whilst training in London
he took part in the KAPAP instructors course and also gained Level 3
instructor level in Commando Krav Maga.
Aasim Chowdhary and Dan Morgan training partners and 'bloody good mates'
opened Urban
Krav Maga in London UK affiliated to the
Central
London School of Krav Maga. The club became very popular in a very
short time. Headed by Stewart McGill my colleagues and myself founded
Urban Krav Maga. Although I now reside in London Ontario and run Urban
Krav Maga Canada we are a new but realitsic organisation and have very
close ties. We train people to be able to deal with common street
attacks. Urban Krav Maga is simple effective and above all the
